Finding Wedding Musicians

Wedding Musicians

What type of musician do you need?

Typically, wedding music could simply be pre-recorded selections from
your collection of CDs.  You could also decide to use a variety of musicians
for the different parts of your wedding which require a different mood or sounds.  Or, in some cases, you may be able to hire one musician to do it all – like TheMUSICofLOVE.  Above all else, make certain your musician is a Member of the Wedding Musician Association

How many musicians do you need?

It’s not always easy to find one musician to play during every part of your wedding.  For
example, while a classical pianist may play during the wedding ceremony, a guitarist
may play during the reception while a rock band may be setting up to play during the
dance party.  And if the dance party is in another location, it may be even more
challenging.  Usually, every musician will set up a sound system wherever they play, so
it’s not always possible for one individual to do it all – but it’s not impossible either.

If you’re trying to be cost-effective, look for a musician who can do it all – like
TheMUSICofLOVE.  For example, I could play pre-recorded traditional music for your
wedding ceremony, then play a quiet, but upbeat guitar during the reception and still
play high-energy dance music during the party.  You have a number of options, so make
certain you explore them all before making a final decision.
